MindEdge Learning Appoints Emily Hemingway as Editorial Director

BOSTON, MA – April 3, 2023: MindEdge Learning today announced the appointment of Emily Hemingway as its editorial director.

Hemingway will lead the company’s editorial staff, work with outside content partners, and ensure consistent content development practices and high-quality assurance outcomes. She will also become a member of the senior leadership team, participating in the company’s strategic planning.

Hemingway has more than 15 years of experience in editorial strategy, curriculum and professional development design, and project management. Prior to joining MindEdge, Hemingway was the editor-in-chief at the Center for Responsive Schools, an independent publisher. Before that, she was the Lower School Head at the Bement School in Deerfield, MA. She also held roles at Greenwich Country Day School and Simon & Schuster.

Hemingway holds a bachelor of arts, summa cum laude, from Barnard College, and masters degrees from Lesley University (Curriculum and Instruction) and Simmons College (MFA in Writing for Children).
