MindEdge's philanthropy is linked to learning and to the empowerment of learners. Consequently, the company's philanthropic outreach is designed to provide education and training, largely on a pro bono basis, that offers lasting benefits for the disadvantaged in terms of skill and knowledge mastery.
The MindEdge Nonprofit Management Initiative
The MindEdge Nonprofit Management Initiative provides nonprofit institutions in disadvantaged communities online training at dramatically reduced rates. Among these online course offerings are MindEdge's seven online Nonprofit Management courses, which review the key issues facing nonprofit leaders and their organizations. Also available is an online simulation, "Leading the Courtney Museum," designed to provide real-world experience with expert coaching.
Learners who complete the program will be exposed to the latest thinking about fundraising, board and volunteer development, budgeting, marketing, and strategic direction for the nonprofit sector.
The program is 100% web-based, allowing even the busiest individuals to gain the training needed to become a more effective, productive, and strategic contributor to their nonprofit organization's goals and objectives. MindEdge's nonprofit courses have been reviewed and pre-approved for Certified Fundraising Executives (CFRE) International continuing education points.
